Description:
As you enter L-Ghabex, its hall with its internal plant room, provides you with the most welcome reception. This leads into an internal courtyard with trees and shrubs. This courtyard leads into a large combined living/dining area equipped with a fireplace, making it very romantic and suitable for a winter break. Here you will also find the TV and telephone. The living room has a huge bay window overlooking the pool (approx 4m x 6.5 m) while an equally wide door leads you onto the terrace and the deck sunbathing area. A Bar-B-Q is also available on the terrace.
A seperate fully equipped kitchen also interconnects to the dining area. Dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, gas cooker with oven, electric kettle and toaster make up the basic kitchen equipment. A visitor's toilet with overhead shower completes the groung floor layout.
On the first floor you will find four bedrooms, all with their own ensiute bathroom with shower and toilet. Three of the bedrooms are equipped with two beds each that can be put together to make up a double bed, while the fourth bedroom is equipped with a big rustic double bed.
The roof terrace provides a 360 degree view of this agricultural island.
The house has been approved by the local Tourism Authority and is equipped with all safety features required. Fire-extinguisher and blanket, smoke alarm and emergency lighting are a standard in this property.
Umgebung: L-Ghabex is situated in Ghammar, a small hamlet between the two rural villages of Gharb and Ghasri. Ghammar is only 2 km from the next bigger place Gharb and 6-7km to Victoria.
Lage: Set in a most beautiful and tranquil countryside environment, here we offer L-Ghabex, a very private farmhouse full of character. It is a semi-detached property finished by its owner to the best of standards. It is only 200m away from the Ta' Pinu Sanctuary. Excellent country tracking routes make this area an all year round destination.
Rocky beaches and the very important scuba site of Dwejra are within 3 km while Gozo's golden sandy beach of Ramla is only 5 km away.
