Capannori Matraia - Casa Nachita, an independent stone cottage, is located on one of the most beautiful hills of Lucca and lies only 12,5 km from the city of Lucca away. Guests may enjoy here the full program – to sunbath in the garden, to find refreshment in the swimming pool (set in earth, 5 x 10m, deep: 1,50m), to taste local specialities on the covered veranda, to admire the magnificent views from the terrace in front of the house, to do groceries on foot or to have a walk to the restaurant. The wonderful greenery invites to do strolls or bicycle trips. Matraia owns a famous quarry where they produce a nice stone, so called “pietra di matraia�. Wine lovers will live a stroke of luck as the area is full of wineries. The sea and the nearby art cities such as Florence, Pisa, Siena etc. are within an easy reach. There are many therapeutic springs in the surroundings which also offer marvellous wellness oasis.
