Ragusa - The silhouette of Villa Cammarana, noble residence of the eighteenth century, proudly raises inside of the mild countryside of Ragusa. There… the still rural landscape - propped up by carob, olive and almond trees and by an infinite theory of low dried-walls - contrasts to the intriguing atmospheres of the nearby baroque towns such as Ragusa-Ibla, Modica and Noto. The magnificent farm-house, looking onto a well-maintained garden ornamented with palms, agaves and lots of bougainvillea, is the ideal accommodation for those ones who are looking for warm old-fashion environments evocating the typical Sicilian aristocratic lifestyle of past times. Just like it used to be at those times, ascending the external staircase you reach the piano nobile looking onto the wide panoramic terrace where your eye spaces as far as to the sea disappearing at the horizon. En plein air moments - meant to be spent between dinners, idleness and dining under the stars - alternate to more intimate moments to spend inside the dwelling which is characterized by visible timbered ceilings, pavements made out of pitch stone and upholstered with decorations and by ancient furnishings of sober elegance. The large living-dining room is the trait d'union with the other rooms: on one side two parallel entrances lead to the kitchen and to one double bedroom with connected bathroom while on the other side of the same living room there is the entrance to another double bedroom (accessible also from the terrace). In this double room, embellished by an ancient fireplace and provided with private bathroom, as in a game of Chinese boxes a further single bedroom opens wide.
